Ford 1.0 Duratec/Ecoboost engines - Crank pulley washer?

Hi all,
Hope you can solve a little mystery for me. Got the special tools to do the wet belts on ford vehicles, and thought I'd use the other halfs Fiesta as a guinea pig. Needless to say I'm now hugely regretting that decision!
It's mostly back together, however when I follow the torque procedure for the crank pulley, it is spinning freely of the crankshaft even after my 5th lot of 90 degrees through the torque multiplier. I'm now coming across info for a friction washer for the crank pulley? None of the working instructions have mentioned this on Haynes or through Alldata. Has anyone come across this before? I'm fairly sure there wasn't one on it previously, but it's not impossible for it to have been missed.

Any help massively appreciated. I'm tearing my hair out, and the Mrs is tearing me a new one!

Chassis is WF0DXXGAKDDR05724 - Reg SM63LHH

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks mate. So am I right in saying they’re not fitted from factory? Because I’m thinking that I’m going to have to take the timing case and sump off tomorrow to see where my old one might have gone.

That's correct. The washer isn't there from the factory, but you need to place it when you replace the belt. It is written in the autodata discription. I don't understand why the aftermarket belt kits don't have this washer in there boxes
