Hi all just wondering what you guys are using to keep test leads ect neat and tidy I've been using velcro cable ties but would like something neater as I recieved my new diag cart today
Wow! Nice trolley!
What was that couple hundred quid?
Like you I use velcro ties, there intended use is for green fingered potters which you can buy for a few quid and get a nice long roll of the stuff you can cut to size.
Other than that I have a boom over my diag trolley so can leave the longer scope cables hanging straight ready for use
I've had mine a few years after I saw Frank Massey using one on a series of training dvd's i bought once upon a time.
At the time they weren't readily available (not that I could find anyway)
So I ended up making one.
Used the remains of a chrome clothes hanger frame.
The main support had a nice 90° curve in it so was perfect
Drilled through it and the leg of my bluepoint trolley and bolted together
Been going strong ever since.
Looks Great , I have 3 diag carts & not been fully happy with any !! First one made up from a MAC trolly & fitted frame & tv . But always ended up kneeling down to use or stand up & get back ache !! Next one was a old Emisions cart . use for remapping only . & now the new Diagnostic box is Great for all the storage pc & printer in bottom scope in side panel . fold away screen ect but with the mouse & keyboard in the top recess your arm aches !! I put some water pipe foam lagging on the Lip but still a problem !!! So aways a chal think I would be best to use the lid for keyboard ect & put screen up on a poll like yours Do like how you got 2 screens
